"I am the Rose of Sharon, the lily of the valleys.” – Song of Songs 2:1
Shoshana comes from the Hebrew word for “rose” or “lily.” It's a reflection of Jesus, the true Rose of Sharon - a reminder that we, as His daughters, are tenderly nurtured in His garden.

The journey began with a divine vision, where I saw the prayer veil ascending from the heavens, accompanied by the triumphant shouts and praises of angels. In this vision, the Lord instructed me to create a symbol of His love and care for His daughters, a reminder that they are cherished and worthy of honor. He desires for us to wear the Word of God on the crown of our heads.

In 2017, I had a near-death experience that changed everything. During my matric year, overwhelmed by caring for my grandfather with Alzheimer's, I suffered a heart attack. My spirit left my body - and I saw heaven. But it was not my time. He gave me a second chance.

In 2017, I had a near-death experience that changed everything. During my matric year, overwhelmed by caring for my grandfather with Alzheimer's, I suffered a heart attack. My spirit left my body - and I saw heaven. But it was not my time. He gave me a second chance.
Shoshana is my way of giving thanks to the Lord. Every prayer veil, every gift box is an offering to Him who gave me a second chance.
As I sat with this vision, I began to understand why the Lord desires His daughters to wear the Word of God on the crown of their heads. The crown represents identity and authority, and He wants us to be covered — not in tradition, but in His Word and in His presence.
It was then that the meaning became clear to me. Jesus wore a crown of thorns so that we could receive a crown of beauty. He carried suffering, shame, and pain so that we could be restored and crowned with honour. This prayer veil represents that exchange. It is the crown of beauty spoken of in Isaiah 61:3.
This veil is not just fabric. It is a reminder of who we are in Him. Each time we place it upon our heads, we are reminded that we are His daughters — loved, covered, and crowned by God.

More than a veil - when worn, it becomes a personal space with the Lord, a moment to lay down our fears, hurts and hopes - trusting Him to heal and restore. Like the bleeding woman in Luke 8:43 - 48 who reached for the hem of Jesus' garment and was made whole, wearing the veil is an act of faith - of touching the hem of Jesus. As I sat with this vision, I began to understand why the Lord desires His daughters to wear the Word of God on the crown of their heads. The crown represents identity an

A tribute to the mothers who carry their children in prayer. The Carried prayer veil is pure white, symbolizing the sacred, untainted love of a mother's intercession. Soft, flowing, and graceful - this veil honors the quiet strength, faith, and covering of a prayer woman.
Wear it as a reminder: her prayers didn't just protect me - they carried me.
The Healing Hem Project was inspired to bring dignity and comfort to underprivileged women and girls by providing essentials. What started with one young girl in need has grown into a mission.
For countless women and girls, sanitary products, pain relief, and basic comfort items are not accessible. As a result, they suffer in silence—missing school, opportunities, and confidence over something completely natural.
As women, we understand the need for dignity and care. I realized I can’t do everything, but I can do something—and together we can do even more. This project invites women to help others experience the beauty of life, even when they’ve been handed its thorns.
The Healing Hem Project provides:
- Sanitary Towels
- Pain Relief Patches
- Warm Water Bottles
Our first community outreach begins in Delportshoop, at Huis Hebron, the church my father built. If it is the Lord’s will, this movement will grow beyond one community, bringing healing and hope wherever it is needed.
Let’s spread beauty instead of thorns—together.
